Supply chain management notes The Impact of Electronic Commerce on Product Management A manufacturing process is the flow of physical materials and related information from the source to the customer. Key product functions include production planning, purchasing, inventory management, distribution, customer service, and sales forecasting. This process is very important for the success of operations, whether they are manufacturers, vendors or service providers. Electronic commerce affects supply chain management in many ways. This includes: Functionality: Electronic Commerce allows shipping companies of all sizes to electronically exchange product information over the Internet. E-commerce enables shippers, freight forwarders, freight forwarders and shipping companies to improve data processing without the investment of money and time that must be made by sending information, improves business processes, accelerates the business cycle, and improves customer experience.
