Write an Introduction for the following speech: Attention Grabber: How many of you guys have been bullied before at any point?Establishing Credibility:Bullying can cause many changes throughout the person and make a change in them and effect their grades and living lifestyle. Thesis Statement/Preview of Main Points: Today, we are going to be talking about Bullying the causes ,types and consequences and what we can do about it to stop bullying. Transition: Before looking at possible solutions, let’s take a look at some of the causes of bullying. Insert Internal Preview; There are ten major causes of why bullying happens. A. First they are feeling Powerless in Their Own Lives by seeking out those who are seen vulnerable and attacking them for aspects of their personality that makes them stand out. a.For example by putting someone else down so they are able to pull oneself up. Unfortunately, this strategy rarely works. B.Second cause of it is that Someone Else is Bullying Them or they feel that b. For example by their parparents, their boss, or an older sibling. Getting bullied by these people can assume that position for authority or claim it themselves through bullying C.Third reason is Bullies are often jealous of or frustrated with the person.

c.People are different because of our characteristics like some are smart ,focused and creative that attributes for the bully wished they shared with the victim. D.Fourth causes Lack of Understanding or Empathy, an aspect of a person’s personality that they don’t understand or don’t agree with. E.Fifth cause is their looking for attention e.. The bully is able to reduce the instances of bullying and even making friends with the bully by being their ground and being nice to the bully. F.Sixth cause is that the bully comes from a dysfunctional family.A big family from there home that is affected. f.Witness of their parents being aggressive to their friends ,siblings or other members of the family. G.Seventh cause Bullies are needed to be in control. g.Really enjoy being able to subdue others. H.Eighth cause Bullies don’t care how others feel h.Seeing someone else get hurt their pleasured of someone getting kicked down the hallway. I.Ninth cause Bullies can’t regulate their emotions , small annoyances can provoke them and it causes them to overreact. i.Know I’m talking about the types of bullying which are physical,verbal ,social and cyber bullying. Insert Internal Summary: As you can see, Bullying will have ten major effects on our lives including Feeling powerless in their own lives,Their getting bullied by

someone else,Often jealous or frustrated with the person,Lack of understanding or empathy ,Looking for attention,Dysfunctional families,Need of control,Get rewarded,Don’t care about feelings,Can’t regulate their emotions. Transition: After exploring the causes of bullying , clearly something needs to be done about it,Insert Internal Preview:There are 4 kinds of bullying. A. physical a.happens when kids use their actions to gain power and control over their targets. B. verbal b.using words, statements, and name calling to also gain and control power. C. social c. hard to be recognize and is carried out behind the person’s back D. cyber bullying d. when a teenager uses social media on the phone or other technology to harass,threaten ,embarrass or target another person. Insert Internal Summary: As you can see,the 4 types of bullying are physical,verbal,social and cyberbullying.
