28 EXPERIMENT No: 12 DATE 29/11/22 ABO BLOOD GROUPING AIM Determination of Human Blood groups (ABO) using Monoclonal Aggutinating antibodies (Antisera). MATERIALS REQUIRED Glass slides test tubes, disposable applicator sticks, normal saline paster pipettes centridye disposable gloves, calcium hypochedic solution (5%) to wipe if disinject the Na spells a / disposable waste bay to collect 4 dispore used accessories of waste PROCEDURE Rapid slide test 1 perpace 10% suspension of RBCS in normal saline Alternatively oxalated whole blood can be used Mack 3 circles on a glass slide al label then as A,B, EA 2. 3. Place 1deop of the appropriate blood grouping anti-see at the above marked area 4. Place 1deop of 10% all suspension or oxalated whole blood to each of marked alla Mix well with reperate applicator sticks 4 spread it over 5. an alla of 2 2 mm diameter , lilt the slide back of torth for 2 mins. observe macoscopically for the evidence of aggletination. 6. OBSERVATION No ayfutination was found when blood mixed was in with antiselum A / B 4 D.
